Flexographic machine application

TDE MACNO realized a complete solution for flexographic printing machines based on our CHS2002 control system and our OpenDrive. This new, technologically innovative control system optimizes the control of the thermoregulation of the paper drying process and of the skeleton drum motor speed. The control of the coiler motor is realized through the calculation of the servo-diameter.
The control panel interfaces all the machine's electronics via field bus.

CHS 2002 is a very competitive and high performance stand alone system suitable to high demanding applications.
The system architecture is essentially built around a PC-embedded platform that works as an integrated controller, managed by a real-time operating system, a special version of Linux operating system.

The PC controls a series of peripherals such as an I/O card designed according to machine specifications, a custom keyboard and a LCD with operator interface function. The I/O card manages digital and analog I/O. The open architecture allows installation of additional functions, especially those related to information exchange between operator, process management and machine management, without interfering in the machine configuration. System flexibility and connectivity are highlighted by the multifold communication possibilities with the machine and the external environment: via net, serial, Can Bus, with remote debug control of machine state and implementation of telediagnosis functions.
